Against the Storm

In the realm where fear does not reside,
God's spirit in us, a powerful tide.
Of love and power, self-discipline,
Against the storm, we're sure to win.

In life's vast sea, waves high and low, on God alone, our gaze we throw. Not on the storm, nor on the self, but on Divine, our truest wealth. With faith and courage, we navigate, God's wisdom guides us through every gate. Greater than any circumstance we meet, God's power makes the challenge sweet.

God, the giver of life and love, His relationship with us, fits like a glove. Transcending our earthly, fleeting breath, His love remains, even beyond death. Eternal is His bond, His divine tie, giving us hope, as days go by. Death is not the end, but a transition, into eternal life, a glorious mission.

The depth of His love, so profound, in every corner of our hearts, it's found. He desires to be with us, forever and a day, In His loving presence, we forever stay. We view life through faith's clear lens, trust in His love, on Him depends. Not self-sufficient, we confess, in every aspect, we need His bless.

Living boldly, with love, and disciplined grace, relying on God, in this life's race. His Spirit within us, our guiding light, in His strength, we take flight. Patiently for His mercy, we wait, acknowledging our need, however great. With humility, to Him we draw near, in His presence, we find no fear.

To understand His Word, we must strive, for it's the guidebook, keeping our faith alive. Lest we err, in understanding lack, let's study His Word, no turning back. Boldly we share the gospel's light, in face of hardship, showing might. Opposition may rise, but we stand tall, for God's power within us conquers all.

In all we say, in all we do, let's seek God's wisdom, pure and true. For His wisdom is our guiding light, leading us through, the darkest night. Passing faith to the next in line, a heritage spiritual, truly divine. Cultivating gifts, in us instilled, not dormant, but active, our purpose fulfilled.
Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor before you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. - Psalm 19:15

Prayer

What lies within this fragile heart that beats and bleeds and breaks apart. What secrets does it hold inside that I have tried so hard to hide. What dreams and hopes and fears and doubts that fill my mind and make me shout. What passions and desires and joys and pains that stir my soul and course my veins. What words and thoughts and feelings and deeds that shape my life and guide my needs. What truths and lies and rights and wrongs that form my voice and sing my songs. What is this heart that you can see that only you can set me free. What is this heart that I conceal that only you can make me reveal.
