Just as soil varies, so do our hearts,
Receptive or resistant, each its own part.
Hardened ground, like rocky soil, we break,
Faith’s endurance tested, roots firmly stake.
Distractions, like thorns, entangle our way,
Worldly concerns vie for our thoughts each day.
Yet the good soil, fertile and deep,
Bears abundant fruit, God’s Word to keep.
Cultivate your heart, remove the stones,
Seek understanding, let God’s truth be sown.
For in the soil of our souls, faith takes root,
And love’s harvest blooms, bearing lasting fruit.
