Promise of the New Covenant

The promise of the new covenant, a hope so pure,
The importance of Christian community, a cure.
Looking forward to the future, of that we're sure,
In the light of His love, we will endure.

In the hallowed halls of the Last Supper's sight, a new covenant was born, under the candlelight. Sealed with Jesus' sacrifice, oh so bright, a beacon for us, in the darkest night. Encouraging us to live, in the new covenant's glow, marked by forgiveness and grace, that continues to grow.

The bread and wine shared, a symbolic show, of the community of believers, together in tow. Teaching us the importance, of unity and fellowship, in the body of Christ, an unbreakable relationship. Reminding us of the Eucharist's significant grip, and Jesus' sacrificial love, on this spiritual trip.

From the least to the greatest, His love knows no bounds, in every heart, His divine presence resounds. Regardless of status, His grace astounds, in the personal relationship with God, true peace is found. Not confined to a group, His love is for all, embraced by anyone who answers His call. Inclusivity and acceptance, the lessons that enthrall, in our interactions with others, let these values befall.

In the realm of disobedience, where we often stray, God's love remains steadfast, lighting our way. Always willing to forgive, to wipe our sins away, His unfailing love restores us, come what may. His promise of forgiveness, a beacon so bright, reminds us of redemption, in His holy light. Our iniquity forgotten, our sins out of sight, His immense capacity for forgiveness, our eternal right. The new covenant He writes, deep within our hearts, signifies transformation, where obedience starts. A call to personal change, as His wisdom imparts, a relationship with God, where true faith sparks.

Striving for a deeper connection, a bond so divine, living out His values, in our lives they shine. With God at the center, everything aligns, in this journey with Him, we eternally intertwine. In God's authority, we place our trust, celebrating His victory, as we must. Serving willingly, in His cause just, looking forward to promises, in Him we thrust.

So let us serve, let us stand, with God's promises, close at hand. In the face of challenges, together we band, in the fulfillment of His promises, we make our stand.
Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor before you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. - Psalm 19:15

Prayer

What lies within this fragile heart that beats and bleeds and breaks apart. What secrets does it hold inside that I have tried so hard to hide. What dreams and hopes and fears and doubts that fill my mind and make me shout. What passions and desires and joys and pains that stir my soul and course my veins. What words and thoughts and feelings and deeds that shape my life and guide my needs. What truths and lies and rights and wrongs that form my voice and sing my songs. What is this heart that you can see that only you can set me free. What is this heart that I conceal that only you can make me reveal.
