Yes or No

With “yes” and “no,” we speak our part,
A simple power from the start.
Our speech, unclad in needless guise,
Avoids the web where falsehood lies.

In words of truth, we stand sincere, Reflecting righteousness so clear. No oaths we need, nor grand display, For in our hearts, His teachings sway. Let honesty be our firm creed, In every thought, in every deed. Transparent lives, like glass so pure, In Jesus’ path, we are secure. So let us walk with hearts ablaze, In truthful ways, His name we praise. Our actions mirror what we say, As we live out our faith each day.

In the midst of tasks, both big and small, God's voice echoes, a gentle call. In our duties, let faithfulness never wane, For in unexpected moments, God's call may rain. Answer promptly, let not hesitation bind, God's call is a treasure, precious to find. Sacrifices may come, as we heed His voice, Yet in His perfect plan, we'll rejoice.

When we decide to follow, let nothing hold us back, Wholeheartedly we step forward, on this holy track. Leaving behind the old, embracing the divine, In God's service, our lives align. Living a life of faith, obedience our song, In generosity we find, where we truly belong. Committing ourselves fully, in service we stand, Sharing His blessings, across the land.

In the shelter of Your wings, we find our peace, A refuge from the storm, where fears cease. You are the source of every good and perfect thing, Our rock, our fortress, the reason we sing. Our inheritance, Lord, is in Your hand, A promised land where milk and honey stand. In You alone, our satisfaction lies, Apart from You, every good thing dies.

In the darkest valleys, when shadows loom, Your wisdom guides us through the gloom. Your counsel whispers in the silent night, A beacon of hope, a guiding light. With You beside us, we shall not fall, For You are with us through it all. You will not leave us; this we know, For Your love is constant; it does not go. Rejoice in hope of resurrection’s dawn, The grave could not hold; its power is gone. In life or death, we are Yours to keep, In Your promise eternal, we find our sleep.

Let us trust in You with all our heart, From Your path of love may we never depart. Seeking Your counsel in every decision, Finding in You our ultimate vision.

Yes or No

Let our yes echo true, our no stand firm,
in the face of the world, we mustn't squirm.
Honesty and integrity, let us affirm,
in our words and actions, let these terms.

In life's vast expanse, where challenges are rife, respect for God's laws, should be our guiding light. Scriptures teach us wisdom, a compass in our strife, to navigate the storm, with grace and insight. So let us walk with grace, hand in hand, upholding His teachings, in every land. For in wisdom and respect, we make our stand, in the shadow of His laws, under His command.

Mistakes we've made, yet His mercy never ends, He heals our wounds, our broken hearts He mends. The greatness of His love, a treasure to revere, for those who fear Him, His promises are clear. Strive we must, for His ideals so grand, to honor marital vows, as He did command. Yet, acknowledging our limits, on this earthly land, in His boundless love, we know He'll understand.

Divorce, not part of His plan, yet He understands, our human frailty, in life's shifting sands. His mercy is profound, His love expands, He holds us close, in His mighty hands. Material wealth, transitory and corruptible, its allure, oh so destructible. But spiritual riches, incorruptible, in its light, we are invincible.

Patience, oh virtue, in suffering be our guide, as a silent boat sails against the tide. Through trials and tribulations, we mustn't hide, with perseverance, let us stride. In the crucible of life, we often stand, enduring hardships, guided by God's hand. Trust in His plan, though the path may wind, in His divine wisdom, peace we find.

Transgressions cast far, as east is from the west, in His enduring love, we find our rest. Emulate His nature, compassionate and kind, in the pursuit of goodness, let our hearts be aligned. In the heart of the Divine, compassion resides, gracious and patient, in Him, our faith confides. Slow to anger, His love in abundance flows, ready to heal and forgive, that's the grace He bestows.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, forget not His deeds, His benefits are endless, like a garden full of seeds. So let us seek His forgiveness, in His love, let us bask, and remember His goodness, that's our most sacred task.
Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor before you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. - Psalm 19:15

Prayer

What lies within this fragile heart that beats and bleeds and breaks apart. What secrets does it hold inside that I have tried so hard to hide. What dreams and hopes and fears and doubts that fill my mind and make me shout. What passions and desires and joys and pains that stir my soul and course my veins. What words and thoughts and feelings and deeds that shape my life and guide my needs. What truths and lies and rights and wrongs that form my voice and sing my songs. What is this heart that you can see that only you can set me free. What is this heart that I conceal that only you can make me reveal.
