Work for Love

A good leader knows how to draw the best from others. Bear your share with the strength that comes from God.

God has given you the gift of discernment and self-control. Know when to speed up or when to pull the brakes. In all your works, let the love of God burn in your heart.

God enables you to face up to every challenge that the world brings. You may be tempted or enticed at first to look upon the profitability or fruitfulness of a work or endeavor but at the end of the day, you will still surrender everything to the Lord.

Any work that comes from the Lord is immediately accomplished without any hassles. There are no loopholes that needs to be filled nor shortcuts to be made. All requirements are met by the letter. Always have a clear conscience to do what is right and fitting at any given situation.

The Lord your God is in full control of any and all situations that comes your way. His Spirit makes you a fighter and not a coward. Share in the suffering for the gospel in the power of God. The Holy Spirit shall give you the burning passion and heated desire to put words into motion or action.

In days past, it was the LORD who led you out and brought you back. He anointed you to be His under shepherd and leader of His people in His church. You have acted decisively for it is not you but the LORD who has gone forth before you to give you victory.

The work of salvation is a design and grace from God and not according to your works. Jesus saved you through His cross and resurrection in obedience to His Father’s will. Realize the truth of this fact and so surrender your life to the idea that you are truly dependent on God’s mercy and that you are incapable of saving yourself.
Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor before you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. - Psalm 19:15

Prayer

What lies within this fragile heart that beats and bleeds and breaks apart. What secrets does it hold inside that I have tried so hard to hide. What dreams and hopes and fears and doubts that fill my mind and make me shout. What passions and desires and joys and pains that stir my soul and course my veins. What words and thoughts and feelings and deeds that shape my life and guide my needs. What truths and lies and rights and wrongs that form my voice and sing my songs. What is this heart that you can see that only you can set me free. What is this heart that I conceal that only you can make me reveal.
