Continue on Your Way

Yet I must continue on my way today, tomorrow, and the following day, for it is impossible that a prophet should die outside of Jerusalem." - Luke 13:33

Jesus is the one true way that leads to life. Life without Him is meaningless for it has no purpose. To be a leader of salvation, one must be made perfect through suffering.

God knows your struggle. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak (Mk 14:38). If God is with you, who can stand against you? Consider your current crisis as an experience that is fitting to fulfill righteousness.

"For a little while". Jesus suffered in order to fulfill His mission of bringing salvation to the world, but now and forever, He sits at the right hand of the Father, in the glory of His throne, and all things were subjected to Him.

Jesus rules over your life today, putting all things under His feet.  He is over all and in Him, none should be lost. He is the heart of love, mercy, compassion, and generosity that is in you, making you feel and experience sorrow and anguish each time you see other people suffering from poverty and injustice.

Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor before you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. - Psalm 19:15

Prayer

What lies within this fragile heart that beats and bleeds and breaks apart. What secrets does it hold inside that I have tried so hard to hide. What dreams and hopes and fears and doubts that fill my mind and make me shout. What passions and desires and joys and pains that stir my soul and course my veins. What words and thoughts and feelings and deeds that shape my life and guide my needs. What truths and lies and rights and wrongs that form my voice and sing my songs. What is this heart that you can see that only you can set me free. What is this heart that I conceal that only you can make me reveal.
