Live the Truth without Pretenses

Make a high resolve, worthy of your years and the dignity of your old age.

Tap the strength within, with the help of your faith. Show yourself worthy of your old age and leave to the young a noble example. Leave an example of nobility and a memorial of courage. Have the courage to refuse things that are not right even for the natural love of life.

Make up your mind in a noble manner, worthy of your years, the dignity of your advanced age, the merited distinction of your gray hair, and of the admirable life you had lived from childhood.

Be loyal to the holy laws given by God. At  your age it would be unbecoming to make such a pretense. Should you pretend for the sake of a brief moment of life, and the youth who looks upon you shall be led astray by you? You will bring shame and dishonor on your old age.

Prove yourself worthy of your old age, and leave to the young a noble example of how to die willingly and generously for the revered and holy laws.

Call out to the Lord. The Lord sustains you and lifts you up each day.

God has answered your prayers from His holy mountain. Be sure that you always have an adequate supply that can sustain your needs during off seasons.
Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor before you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. - Psalm 19:15

Prayer

What lies within this fragile heart that beats and bleeds and breaks apart. What secrets does it hold inside that I have tried so hard to hide. What dreams and hopes and fears and doubts that fill my mind and make me shout. What passions and desires and joys and pains that stir my soul and course my veins. What words and thoughts and feelings and deeds that shape my life and guide my needs. What truths and lies and rights and wrongs that form my voice and sing my songs. What is this heart that you can see that only you can set me free. What is this heart that I conceal that only you can make me reveal.
