Forgive and be Forgiven

Everyone makes mistakes and deserves forgiveness. Forgiveness can mend relationships that have been strained by conflict and misunderstanding. It brings peace of mind and tranquility, freeing you from the burden of carrying grudges and resentment. It fosters understanding, empathy, and compassion.

However, it’s important to note that forgiveness is a personal decision and process. It’s not something that can be forced, and it usually takes time before a person is ready to forgive depending on the degree of hurt or pain inflicted upon him. It’s also crucial to remember that forgiveness does not mean forgetting or condoning harmful actions. It’s about finding a way to move forward that is healthy for the individual.

Holding onto anger and resentment can cause emotional pain. Forgiveness allows you to let go of these negative emotions and move on. Studies have shown that forgiveness can lead to better physical health, including lower blood pressure and reduced stress.

The Lord deals with you in His kindness and great mercy. His forgiveness is not based on human standards, but on the standards He established. His love knows no bounds. He will never allow your sinful nature to overcome the good that He has placed in your heart. Good and upright is the Lord showing sinners the way.

See for yourself the works of the Lord, the astounding things that He has done for you. God is your Protector. In times of distress, He embraces you with His mighty hands. He is your strength in everything you do or work for. Each moment of your life, God has always been with you, giving you the peace and prosperity that you have always sought for in your entire life. Life is at its best because God is always with you.

The Lord is good to all and compassionate toward all his works. As the Lord your God is at work until now, so are you too is at work. Follow the Lord with your whole heart in His works of love.
Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor before you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. - Psalm 19:15

Prayer

What lies within this fragile heart that beats and bleeds and breaks apart. What secrets does it hold inside that I have tried so hard to hide. What dreams and hopes and fears and doubts that fill my mind and make me shout. What passions and desires and joys and pains that stir my soul and course my veins. What words and thoughts and feelings and deeds that shape my life and guide my needs. What truths and lies and rights and wrongs that form my voice and sing my songs. What is this heart that you can see that only you can set me free. What is this heart that I conceal that only you can make me reveal.
