First Response

In every moment, in joy or in pain,
Let our first response be to call His name.
Not as a last resort in our distress,
But as the first step in our faithfulness.

In every situation, near or far, let prayer be our guiding star. Not waiting for a time that's right, but turning to God with all our might. Our prayers are more than just requests, they're acts of worship, of love professed. To the Lord our God, we lift our voice, in His presence, our hearts rejoice.

The prayer of faith, a powerful decree, can save the sick and set the captives free. In suffering's grip or cheerfulness' song, in prayer, we find where our hearts belong. Mindful of our words, we strive, to speak only what's pleasing in God's eyes. With every word, may we impart, a reflection of His love in our heart.

In times of need, let's stand side by side, support each other, let love be our guide. Pray for each other, let healing occur, in the unity of faith, let love endure. In times of trouble, on Him we fix our gaze, trusting in His love, lost in His grace. Guiding and protecting us through the fray, in His presence, we choose to stay.

Each of us has a role, a part to play, in the grand design, in the light of day. In the process of restoration, let's take our stand, guided by His love, upheld by His hand. Receptivity is key, in faith we must trust, to our God above, being open is a must. With humility, trust, and an open heart, like a child, in His kingdom, we take part.

In the eyes of a child, pure and bright, shines the innocence of heavenly light. Jesus holds a special bond, so we're told, with these young hearts, trusting and bold. Jesus' ministry, a beacon of love, inclusive and personal, sent from above. From the smallest child to the oldest soul, in His kingdom, each one plays a role.

Faith is not just a word, but a seed, that blossoms into action in our need. It's linked to healing, a divine connection, a heavenly balm for our affliction. Valuable are we in the kingdom of God, treasured and loved, though we are flawed. The hand of the Lord, gentle and kind, blesses us all, in love we find.
Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor before you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. - Psalm 19:15

Prayer

What lies within this fragile heart that beats and bleeds and breaks apart. What secrets does it hold inside that I have tried so hard to hide. What dreams and hopes and fears and doubts that fill my mind and make me shout. What passions and desires and joys and pains that stir my soul and course my veins. What words and thoughts and feelings and deeds that shape my life and guide my needs. What truths and lies and rights and wrongs that form my voice and sing my songs. What is this heart that you can see that only you can set me free. What is this heart that I conceal that only you can make me reveal.
