Beyond the Veil

In the quiet chambers of our souls,
Where earthly clamor fades and spirit stirs,
Jesus beckons us to seek beyond the veil,
To taste the bread of life that truly nourishes.

Not just the fleeting blessings of this world,
But the eternal sustenance that feeds our hearts,
For in seeking Him, we find our destiny secured,
A journey of faith, a sacred work of art.

Intellect alone cannot unlock His mystery,
For Jesus is more than signs and miracles,
He is the whisper in the wind, the fire in our bones,
The One who calls us to trust when evidence is minimal.

So let us seek Him, not merely with our minds,
But with open hearts, surrendered and sincere,
For in encountering Jesus, we find life abundant,
And our souls forever anchored in His love, crystal clear.
Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor before you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. - Psalm 19:15

Prayer

What lies within this fragile heart that beats and bleeds and breaks apart. What secrets does it hold inside that I have tried so hard to hide. What dreams and hopes and fears and doubts that fill my mind and make me shout. What passions and desires and joys and pains that stir my soul and course my veins. What words and thoughts and feelings and deeds that shape my life and guide my needs. What truths and lies and rights and wrongs that form my voice and sing my songs. What is this heart that you can see that only you can set me free. What is this heart that I conceal that only you can make me reveal.
