The Shepherd’s Care

God is our Shepherd, tender and true,
Providing for our needs, both old and new.
When we trust Him fully, we lack nothing,
He leads us to restful places, gently guiding.

Along righteous paths, His hand we trace,
Even in life’s darkest valleys, we find grace.
Fear need not grip our trembling hearts,
For God’s presence surrounds us, a comforting art.

His rod and staff, like a shepherd’s embrace,
Guide us through trials, revealing His grace.
Trusting Him dispels our anxious fears,
As we journey through life’s joys and tears.

In adversity’s shadow, a feast He prepares,
Anointing us with blessings, abundant and rare.
In His presence, joy and sustenance we find,
Goodness and mercy follow, intertwined.

Our days unfold, each step marked by grace,
And our ultimate home awaits in that sacred space.
With the Lord forever, our souls secure,
Trusting Him faithfully, our hearts endure.

Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor before you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. - Psalm 19:15

Prayer

What lies within this fragile heart that beats and bleeds and breaks apart. What secrets does it hold inside that I have tried so hard to hide. What dreams and hopes and fears and doubts that fill my mind and make me shout. What passions and desires and joys and pains that stir my soul and course my veins. What words and thoughts and feelings and deeds that shape my life and guide my needs. What truths and lies and rights and wrongs that form my voice and sing my songs. What is this heart that you can see that only you can set me free. What is this heart that I conceal that only you can make me reveal.
