True Wisdom and Strength

True wisdom and strength come from God above,
Not from our own might, but from His love.
Depend on His power, not on our own,
For in our weakness, His strength is shown.

Humility lets His power shine through,
Embracing our flaws, His purpose pursue.
In our frailty, His work is complete,
Through our weakness, His victory is sweet.

Following Christ means standing apart,
Against the norms, with a faithful heart.
Our faith distinct, rooted in His truth,
Though the world may see it as uncouth.

Focus on the truths that truly matter,
Not on distractions that make faith scatter.
Build on the rock of God’s mighty power,
Not on human pride, which can quickly sour.

Let our faith be firm, our foundation strong,
In God’s wisdom, where we belong.
For His understanding never shifts like sand,
In His eternal truth, we firmly stand.
Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor before you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. - Psalm 19:15

Prayer

What lies within this fragile heart that beats and bleeds and breaks apart. What secrets does it hold inside that I have tried so hard to hide. What dreams and hopes and fears and doubts that fill my mind and make me shout. What passions and desires and joys and pains that stir my soul and course my veins. What words and thoughts and feelings and deeds that shape my life and guide my needs. What truths and lies and rights and wrongs that form my voice and sing my songs. What is this heart that you can see that only you can set me free. What is this heart that I conceal that only you can make me reveal.
